Productive morning
This morning was nice and productive. Instead of just sort of aimlessly doddling around on Saturday morning, we put a To Do list together at breakfast. So far, I mowed the lawn, got the weed eating done, cleaned the BBQ and hot tub, sprayed weed killer on the back hill and side yard, picked up dog poop, swept the driveway and sidewalk in front of our house, and trimmed the bushes next to my truck. Wow, it seems like even more when I write it out.
The girls came out for a little bit to dig in the dirt, watch me clean the hot tub (I don't know why they want to watch that), and fly their little foam airplanes I got then for Christnas. It was a very nice morning.
Still on my To Do list:
Clean toilets
Finish Blair's computer
Get down SCUBA gear
Decide what to pack
Work on AT-AT computer

My trainer will be happy to know that I worked out in the hotel fitness center tonight.
Thanks, Suzanne! See you Friday (not Saturday as I'm spending the day with my dad in Sacramento).

Longest. Business Dinner. Ever.
At least for me. Wow! I flew into Portland (PDX) at 4:30 this afternoon. I drove to downtown Portland and after some circular driving, arrived at The Veritable Quandary (http://www.veritablequandary.com/) at 5:45. We left at 10:15. I had a wonderful dinner with a colleague, one customer, and two vendors. But man, I am pooped now! And it was NOT diet-friendly. Good thing my trainer sent me here with a couple pieces of gear to workout. Better do it tomorrow.
I have a great wife. Always have. Always will.
I always knew this - absolutely no question - but tonight (okay, technically last night), Sarah reconfirmed that she is the best wife I could ever have. She balances me out so well, and she can tell when things are really important versus just a passing phase. I love you, Sarah.
